Alongside my work at Laura Fitzgerald Photography, I am one of the founding directors behind Dark Wedding Collective. It was created for couples who do not see themselves reflected in mainstream wedding spaces. For people planning gothic, celestial, fantasy, punk, witchy, queer led or gloriously unconventional celebrations. For those who care about atmosphere, storytelling and working with suppliers who genuinely understand their world.

After years photographing alternative weddings across the UK, I kept seeing the same thing. Couples struggling to find the right people. Wedding fairs that felt overwhelming or impersonal. Incredible creative suppliers hidden in corners of the industry.

So we built something different.

Dark Wedding Collective is a nationwide platform of immersive wedding fairs and a carefully curated supplier directory, all designed around inclusivity, accessibility and creative freedom.

It exists to make planning feel inspiring rather than intimidating.
